Good coils.. review by Vaperrr on 3/19/2019Been using these for about a year on my priv v8. Tried almost all the different resistance and I think the x4 work the best. I haven’t tried the strip coil yet tho. Only 4 stars bc ocationaly I get a coil that won’t thread on the tank

I liked the Big Baby Beast tank. I used to get the Q2 coils and they were fine but after trying both the mesh and the strip coils those are the ONLY coils I will use for this. The difference between the mesh and strip coils which are both mesh actually is that the Strip coils have a thicker mesh with a coarser weave so you can actually see white cotton between the weave. Also the Strip coils are made out of Kanthal and the mesh I don't know as it is not listed. The Strip version can take a lot more power than the mesh but I use both around the same temp which is in the low range and like having both. These coils light up so quickly and so evenly they are just plain far superior to any other standard coil. The strip versions are harder to find at the moment but they sell them here so I suggest you try a pack and I bet you will be sold.

I use the V8 Baby X4 on my big baby beast tank. I vape at 30-40 watts, pretty low. These coils for the most part seem to be of good quality. They can last up to 2 weeks, depending of course on my settings and how much im vaping.
However, every so often, maybe about 20% of the time, I seem to get a dud. It lasts only a few days before that terrible burned taste kicks in. Yuck!!!! I can squeeze another day in if I turn the wattage down even more but who wants to settle for that when using a high quality item. Those are some expensive duds. Maybe I'll contact Smoktech and ask about this. -

I have ordered the same thing twice now, the first 5 pack lasted about a week per coil. The second pack has lasted about 2 hours per coil before not working at all (Resistance low/ broken) -- All on the same Smok priv V8 with the same juice and same usage. I have to think that quality control is not the best over at smok. I have more on the way we shall see how it goes.
